Lived Experience Consulting

Recovery is not a moment. It is a relationship sustained over time, often during moments of deep vulnerability. Lived experience advocacy ensures that this reality shapes how organizations think, lead, and care.

I serve as a bridge between patients, community, and leadership, translating lived experience into insight that strengthens access, deepens trust, and supports long term engagement. This work does not replace clinical expertise or business strategy. It strengthens both by centering the human experience at a systems level.

This perspective connects across the organization. It informs admissions and intake by highlighting barriers to access and moments of hesitation. It supports clinical teams by reinforcing recovery as a long-term process rather than a single outcome. It strengthens marketing and communications by aligning storytelling with integrity. It deepens business development and partnership work by building trust within referral networks and communities. It supports alumni engagement by sustaining connections beyond discharge. And it offers leadership a grounded understanding of how culture, policy, and practice are experienced by the people they serve.

When lived experience is embedded intentionally, care becomes more credible, relationships become more durable, and growth becomes aligned with values.

Lived experience advocacy is not an add-on. It is a multiplier. When organizations invest in it strategically, they improve outcomes for the people they serve while strengthening the systems that support them.
