Speaking
Story as a Catalyst for Change
Storytelling is not performance for me. It is how we build relationships. It is the space where lived experience meets leadership and where vulnerability opens the door to systemic change. Rooted in long term recovery and advocacy, my work explores identity, authenticity, mental health, and the responsibility that comes with telling the truth out loud.
I believe that when people feel seen, they become willing to grow. When a story is shared with intention, it moves beyond inspiration and becomes momentum. Authenticity builds trust. Trust builds community.
From recovery to leadership, from activism to education, I use storytelling to help people reconnect to themselves and to one another. When we speak honestly about who we are and what we have overcome, we create spaces where change is not only possible but sustainable.
Experience
As an award-winning TEDx speaker and performer, I bring years of experience blending education and entertainment in ways that feel both grounded and transformative. I am the founder of the Out Loud Pride Summit, a national mental health summit centering LGBTQ+ voices and professional education. I have spoken as a keynote speaker, panelist, moderator, and workshop facilitator for organizations including Johnson & Johnson, Shiseido, Texas Christian University, Southern Methodist University, the University of Texas at San Antonio, TEDx, Texas Public Radio, Project HEAL, and the United Nations. Across corporate, academic, nonprofit, and international spaces, my work consistently bridges lived experience with leadership, advocacy, and cultural change.
Working Together
Each engagement is tailored to the audience and the moment. Whether delivering a keynote address, joining a panel conversation, facilitating a “Build Your Story” workshop, or designing a custom experience that merges performance with education, my goal remains the same: to create spaces where honesty strengthens connection and connection strengthens action. I move fluidly between storytelling and strategy, vulnerability and insight, ensuring audiences leave not only moved, but equipped to lead differently.
